WHY WE CREATED THIS BRACELET?
After our blog article, The Cove Documentary: Save The Dolphins Effort!, which tells all about how "the Taiji cove has been killing dolphins and selling their meat which is poisoned with mercury,"was published on February 26, 2013 we received an outrageous amount of feedback from all of our fans that this is a cause we MUST support, and we ALL AGREED over here at Pura Vida Bracelets. The colors were chosen strategically by our team to represent "The Cove" campaign. The BLUES represent the ocean the dolphins call home. The SAND tie string represents the shores the ocean washes up on. Lastly, the RED knot represents the slaughtering of the dolphins in Taiji, Japan. We hope this brings a little bit more clarity into the planning on the "Save the Dolphin" bracelet we created.
